Reserve ‘Żurawie Błota’

Reserve ‘Żurawie Błota’ which literally means crane’s marshland (109,13 ha) was established in 1990 and covers Kamienne Lake which quite recently become lobelia lake. A rare plant species exists here – water lobelia – which number decreases at present. However, the lake and the surrounding mosaic of forest and bog habitats is still a nesting place for wading birds – crane and solitary sandpiper.
