Educational and recreational park in Garcz

The park is located in Garcz, by the Kartuzy – Sierakowice road. The large recreational area includes a skatepark, an external gym and an educational part which possesses devices illustrating some of the laws of physics.

Educational devices in the park:

• Wind gongs and xylophones - devices showing the propagation of sound waves in the air
• Chinese whispers – device for transmitting sounds
• Elephant's ear - device for transmitting sounds
• Optical wheel – demonstrating the optical illusion
• The periscope – enabling observation of objects that are outside the field of view
• Rain pipes - for the production of sound waves
• The whirlpool - presenting how the water vortex is formed
