Reserve ‘Lubygość’ (54,60 ha) since 1962 protects an unusual glacial lake, in which plant production is based on matter getting into the lake from outside (mainly falling leaves). Around the lake are poor communities of natural beech forests. There exist three species of plants typical for upland and mountainous regions: northern firmoss, Veronica montana, a fern – Blechnum spicant. Worth noticing here are sandstone-conglomerate grottos nearby the northern shores of the lake. Tourists can reach the reserve by following a red hiking trail from the forester’s lodge in Mirachowo.
