Gaj Świętopełka in Kartuzy
- 83-300 Kartuzy
At the bank of Klasztorne Małe Lake, near the Collegiate Church is Gaj Świętopełka. This term was coined by the inhabitants of Kartuzy for a small forest complex serving recreation purposes. It is a highly popular place for walks especially via the so-called Philosophers’ Alley which leads to the only island on the lake – Wyspa Łabędzia (Swan’s Island). Recently, a pedestrian and bicycle route has been extended and led around the entire Małe Klasztorne Lake.
