Arboretum of Carthusian Forest Ranger named after Jerzy Schwengel in Kartuzy

The educational trail, approximately 1 km long which leads through the most attractive terrain and within a short distance allows the observation of 23 species of forest trees, the majority aged 100-170 years. In order to enable admiring the individual species, placards with Polish species names have been hung on 50 trees trunks. The footbridges, handrails and wooden stairs make it easy for visitors to move safely on the largest steep slopes.
