Hydroelectric power plants in Rutki

It was established in 1908-1910. The Rutki hydroelectric power station is the precursor of electrification in Kashubia. The convenient location of the village at the mouth of the Radunia Ravine, created a natural opportunity to use the river's water energy and to build industrial plants powered by water wheels. Nowadays the facility in Rutki functions as a local power plant which is fully operational and active. It serves also as the 20th century technical monument. Inside the building you can see historic turbines and an exhibition devoted to the history of the power plant. Visiting after prior reservation.
