Hydroelectric power plants in Rutki

It was established in 1908-1910. The Rutki hydroelectric power station is the precursor of electrification in Kashubia. The convenient location of the village at the mouth of the Radunia Ravine, created a natural opportunity to use the river's water energy and to build industrial plants powered by water wheels. Nowadays the facility in Rutki functions as a local power plant which is fully operational and active. It serves also as the 20^th century technical monument. Inside the building you can see historic turbines and an exhibition devoted to the history of the power plant. Visiting after prior reservation.
